Covenant

I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.

And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.

Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.

I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David.

My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

He remembers His covenant forever, the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations.

For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you — the sure mercies of David.

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

For this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.

And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.

But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant.
