Deliverance

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance .

So Moses returned to the Lord and said, "Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me?

Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said, "You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?"

But the people said to Saul, "Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.

For he took his life in his hands and killed the Philistine, and the Lord brought about a great deliverance for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?"

Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul.

And he said, "Open the east window"; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot"; and he shot. And he said, "The arrow of the Lord 's deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them. "

And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord .

Now when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, "They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance . My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great guilt, since You our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us such deliverance as this,

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; Save me from all those who persecute me; And deliver me,

I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Great deliverance He gives to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.

To You, O Lord , I lift up my soul.

In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness.

My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.

You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your strength.

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

BOOK FIVE Oh, give thanks to the Lord , for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord .

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance , As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

"But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance , And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.

But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'

Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
